Most commonly incorrectly answered questions
  • There are two songs that contain the word Farewell in them - Rue’s Farewell by James Newton Howard and Farewell by Evgueni Galperine
  • Atlas can be heard during the ‘We’re A Team’ scene just before the arena when Effie says her goodbyes to Katniss and Peeta. Coldplay collaborated with James on this piece.
  • As you are entering District 13, you MUST follow President Coin’s orders. You are applying for permanent residency here, so you are to follow your orders so the officials know they can trust you.
  • Francis Lawrence has a speaking line and that is ‘tributes mount up, tributes mount up!’
  • Suzanne Collins wrote the first draft of The Hunger Games
  • Suzanne Collins did NOT have a cameo in the films - the rumor that is circulating is FALSE and I used this as a trick question
  • Catching Fire filmed in California, New Jersey, Georgia and Hawaii
  • Francis Lawrence was sick alongside Jennifer Lawrence
  • Victors Village had 2 houses built on set, the rest were CGI’d in. If you said 0, you were also right as the set has now been taken down… forever.

The word somehow leaked out so I can confirm that Michelle Forbes has indeed been cast as Lieutenant Jackson, Squad 451’s second in command in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Her casting announcement is set to be officially announced within the next few months.

A trailer has not been cancelled because there was never a trailer planned for the MTV Movie Awards in the first place.

Just wanted to say I completely agree with everything you said about the way the love triangle is handled. It IS a bigger part in the books than it is in the movies and I certainly have never seen either of the films being marketed as a love triangle. Fans are deluded. Sometimes think they just want something to complain about. Or have forgotten what the books are actually like.

I agree.

(Cont.) she choose Peeta because he was the peacemaker. She didn't want to keep being the fire, she needed someone to put it out so she could cool off. Yes she had feelings for both of them, but like it says in the book, she needed the hope of rebirth of destruction, because she had too much of that for a girl younger than 18. The love is there, but so is the mental decision she had to make. (Part 2/2)

And that is how they’re going to handle the three’s dynamic in MJ.

I don't think the love triangle was meant to be seen as a "love triangle" but more as a decision for Katniss in the books and in the movies. The focus is really not on the relationship, but more on the way each guy tips the scale for Katniss. First there is Gale who is fighter and wants to fight in a physical war with the Capitol. Then there is Peeta, who still fights but in a peaceful way. They are the people that influence her decisions since she volunteered to the end. At the end (part 1/2)

^ (1/2)

i think a lot of people that are so 'ah there's too much gale!' blah blah, are people who are so ridiculously obsessed with this 'joshifer' nonsense. i love katniss and peeta together, but all of these delusional people have become so over the top obsessed with jen and josh that they freak out over anything that stands in the way of them drooling over the two of them. sorry if that doesn't make sense, i didn't really know how to put what i'm thinking into words.

To avoid drama I’m not going to comment on that :P but I’ve seen plenty of Everlark shippers who are respectful of Gale, and vice versa.

flip-fantasia says: Most every commercial had a Gale/Katniss kiss. You say people are welcome to their opinion and in the same breath say your’s is the only that is right. I imagine Suzanne Collins put in a lot more work then any movie executive has. The plant book & roof top scenes in the book are crucial to the story and considering how much they shortened the beach kiss the extra death peek isn’t adding much. You are not team Katniss, you are team lionsgate, and why not defend the millionaire company that changed the story instead of the real story. By lionsgate story line I expect Gale to have his way with Katniss while the whole district is trapped in the bunker. Most of us can handle different view points/interpretations of the books - a lot if fanfic readers on tumblr - but the movies are far from the best interpretation I have seen. You are pretty rude when people disagree with you. We are all pretty much experts on the series, we know what we are talking about too.

The next time you go making accusations about the marketing team, please at least get your facts right first. ‘Changed the story’? Really? So many people can agree with me that they did not change the story in the slightest. Sorry to burst your bubbles but Suzanne Collins originally wanted MORE of Gale, but it was the producers who changed her mind.

So back at the end February you said were going on hiatus with answering movie related questions and would come back soon(a week) before a teaser trailer was released to give us hints. Well you've been pretty active recently, does this mean we may be getting something relatively soon? Coincidentally(and not to stir up rumors) the MTV movie awards are also a week away haha.

I’ve already confirmed a couple weeks ago that there is no trailer at the MTV Movie Awards.
